False Ghost Pictures

This page was created to show the difference between natural objects caught on film and true paranormal anomalies.  NONE of the pictures below are of any thing Paranormal.  They are natural objects like dust particales that are commonly mistaken for paranormal anomalies.  We hope this page will help people understand the difference between natural things caught on film and true paranormal anomalies. Again NONE of the pictures on this page are of paranormal origin.

This was a moth that flew in front of the camera lens as we took a picture.

These are dust particles in the air caused by moving a truck on the dirt road by the cemetery.

These orbs were caused by hitting a dusty chair and then taking a picture.

This is a finger in front of the camera lens.

This is not a vortex but looks similar..  It is a camera strap in front of the lens. Notice it stays the same size through the picture a real vortex is more funnel shaped.

This looks like dual vortices or orbs in motion close to the camera lens.  It is the camera strap looped in front of the lens when the picture was taken.

These are not spirit orbs this picture was taken while it was raining and shows rain drops on film.

There are other natural things that can cause false anomalies on film like snow, smoking while taking pictures,pollen,bad film,sun flare, reflections, ditry camera lens and double expsure. If you  follow the rules and guidelines you will not make these common mistakes.
