For the last 6 years the CCIGHS has conducted a paranormal investigation at the grave site of Elizabeth "Betsey" Reed on the anniversary of her hanging. This year marked the 162nd anniversary of her death and what we found might put a whole new twist on the story!
Elizabeth was said to have poisoned her husband's sassafras tea with arsenic. She was hung for the crime on May 23, 1845. Everyone thinks she did anyway! We now have new evidence from beyond the grave that Elizabeth "Betsey" Reed is NOT guilty!
