| ELECTRONIC VOICE PHENOMENA (EVP) - The capture of spirit voices on magnetic tape or other audio recording devices such as the digital format. Many times, no sound is heard while the device is recording. It's only upon playback that the harsh, hushed, voices may be heard. |

| All of these voices have been captured by members of the Crawford County Illinois Ghost Hunters Society. We can find no explanation for the voices you are about to hear! These are real voices from beyond the grave!! |
| NOTE: All of these voices were captured using a Sony audio cassette recorder, with an external microphone or an RCA digital recorder. These sounds have not been altered or changed in any way. |

| This voice is very faint and heard to hear. It is the voice of a woman saying YOUR LOOKING AT MY LIGHT! You will hear a team member giving readings on the thermal scanner. The voice is right after he says seventy eight. We were standing right over a solar light that was swinging! |

| This is a voice we captured in an old church and is two spirits talking. One asked CAN I SIT HERE? The other voice answers NO!! |

| Update....We have had several e-mails from people saying that this EVP is Old English and says, MY FLESH AND BLOOD! |
| May 23, 2007, marked the 162nd anniversary for hanging of Elizabeth "Betsey" Reed. Betsey was the first and only woman to be hung in the state of Illinois. She was said to have poisoned her husbands sassafras tea with arsenic. She was found guilty and hung on May 23, 1845. The CCIGHS conducted an EVP investigation at the Grave site of Betsey and recorded a voice we believe is Elizabeth "Betsey Reed herself! Its says "Im Innocent!" |
