| Digital Static The first generation of digital recorders had a problem known as digital static. Many investigators that have used some of the early model digital recorders confused the static with growls or demonic sounds. The sounds were actually caused by static discharges and not something paranormal. The newer model digital recorders have eliminated this problem and are very clear unlike the first generation recorders. When EVP is recorded it is clear human speech and does not sound like static or high pitched sounds. |
