The Best Times for Paranormal Activity

There are not any perfect times for ghost and spirit activity.  A paranormal occurrence could happen at any time of the day or night.  We never know for sure when an event will take place but there are certain times when paranormal activity seems to increase.  From the time period of 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. in the morning is when we have found the most paranormal activity in the locations that we have investigated.  Paranormal activity is usually at its highest peak or strongest during the 12:00 midnight hour and increasing again around the 3:00 a.m hour which is commonly referred to as the witching hour.  All through the midnight and 3:00 a.m. hour ghosts and spirits are the most active and this might have to do with the conditions of the earth at those hours. This could be due to some geophysical conditions being at their peak or at its lowest condition, such as barometric pressure, geomagnetic and gravitational fields for the earth at those particular times.

We have not noticed an increase of activity during October, 31st or Halloween.  We have found that on November, 1st  or All Souls Day that activity does increase a small amount but it could be due to other conditions and not the date itself.  November, 1st is said to be the actual date celebrated by the Celtics as the time when the veil between this world and the next is at its most thinnest and is the origins of our modern day Halloween.  Spirits are supposed to be able to cross over easily into our dimension on All Souls Day and some people have reported an increase in ghostly activity on that day.  In all I do not think the date has a strong impact on paranormal activity but if other conditions are present also at the time it might help contribute to a haunting.

During the winter solstice we have found an increase in paranormal activity.  The winter solstice is on December, 21st and is the shortest day of the year but that makes it the longest night!  The winter solstice is caused by the sun taking a lower and lower path in the sky and eventually reaching its lowest point on December, 21st.  This allows a longer period of darkness on that date because the sun sets sooner.  Paranormal activity seems to increase on the date of the winter solstice.  We have also found a small increase of activity on the summer solstice, which is the longest day and shortest night of the year.  It is when the sun is at its highest point in the sky giving it a longer time period before it sets.  The spring and fall equinox is also a good time to conduct paranormal investigations.  On the spring and fall equinox the sun will rise exactly in the east and fall exactly in the west.  Every place on earth has a 12 hour day on the spring and fall equinox.  The spring equinox is also the day that you can balance an egg on end. The spring equinox is usually around march 21st and the fall equinox being close to September 21st.  The reason that ghost and spirit activity increases on these dates might be due to geophysical changes or magnetic shifts taking place on the earth.
